Our Commitments

Our Commitment to Patient Care:

We are committed to providing our patients with optimal functional, cosmetic, and preventive care, performed with “tender loving care.” Our purpose is to help our patients keep all of their teeth the rest of their lives whenever possible. Dr. Hollar and our staff believe in complete dentistry, which includes re-engineering the bite when necessary. Providing functional, comfortable, quality, long-lasting, and aesthetic dental care is our goal. This belief is backed up by our World-Class Ten-Year Porcelain Warranty.

Every procedure performed in this office will be accomplished to the very best of our ability, and our abilities will never cease to grow and to improve through our continuous quest for excellence. All our staff members are motivated and enthusiastic about dentistry, and all exhibit a passion for their work and for the care of our patients.

Our Commitment to Education:

We are committed to providing the greatest value to our patients by seeking the highest level of dental education in both functional and aesthetic dentistry. In addition to having more than 2,000 hours of advanced study, Dr. Hollar herself is an educator. She is a visiting faculty member at the prestigious Pankey Institute and The Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, teaching both the functional and aesthetic aspects of dentistry and sharing her knowledge with dentists from around the world.

Dr. Hollar is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is one of fewer than 320 dentists worldwide to achieve this level of excellence. The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry has over 6,000 members and is recognized as the leading organization dedicated to excellence in aesthetic dental restoration. Accredited since 1998, she is presently an examiner for the accreditation process and serves on the board. Learn more about the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry at www.aacd.com .

Continuing education is also a priority for all of Dr. Hollar’s staff members. Each staff member attends a minimum of six days per year outside of the office, learning various aspects of restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, practice management, dental laboratory procedures, and hygiene advancements.

Our Commitment to Quality:

We are committed to ensuring the quality of our dental work. Only the finest dental materials and most advanced dental equipment are used, and every phase of our diagnostic and clinical work is done with the utmost care, skill, and knowledge. We utilize our own in-house dental laboratory, work with world-class porcelain technicians, and create some of the finest cosmetic and restorative treatments available. All work is backed by our World-Class Ten-Year Porcelain Warranty.

Our Commitment to Safety:

We are committed to everyone’s safety and protection. All of us are concerned about the risk of exposure to infectious diseases such as AIDS, hepatitis, or herpes during the process of dental treatment. We are also sensitive to the newest HIPAA regulations, which keep our patient’s personal information confidential.

For your protection, our philosophy is this: If we can’t heat-sterilize it, we dispose of it. All OSHA, HIPAA, Bureau of Radiation Control, and public health regulations are met or surpassed in our office. We will gladly answer any questions about the methods we use to help ensure your health and safety.

Our Commitment to Your Comfort:

The setting for our dental office typifies the care and comfort provided to our patients. Each treatment room offers a peaceful, tranquil view of a lush wooded creekside with beautiful native plants. On two occasions, our office has been recognized for its positive environmental impact on the City of Arlington.

Dr. Hollar believes that all dental treatment should be done with the patient’s comfort in mind. For longer appointments, complimentary Town Car service is provided, allowing Dr. Hollar to administer mild sedating drugs during your appointment. Intravenous (IV) sedation can also be arranged with our anesthesiologist.

Some amenities you should expect include Tempurpedic foam dental mattresses (like the astronauts use), virtual reality DVD goggles with over 100 DVD movies to choose from, disposable earphones, disposable eyewear, complimentary lunch for patients with long appointments, warm washcloths, cold bottled water, coffee, tea, hygiene supplies – including disposable toothbrushes – and of course our famous frozen yogurt that’s always a tasty treat. Visiting The Art of Dentistry in Arlington, Texas can become a relaxing luxury retreat.
